Howard Blaine Frymier, age 75, of 413 Norris Street, Glenville, departed this life at 9:45 a.m., June 14, 2014, at the Crestview Manor Rehabilitation Center in Jane Lew after an extended illness.
Born on January 12, 1939, at Glenville, he blessed the family of John Wesley and Marguerite Engle Frymier. Howard graduated from Glenville High School and volunteered for the United States Air Force serving a four-year term. He then returned home and received his BA Teaching Degree from Glenville State College. He taught in Baltimore County, MD before moving to Carroll County where he retired after 30 years of service to education.
On September 29, 1963, Howard was united in marriage to Jacqueline Kay Miller. From this union two children were born: Alan Clark and Kimberly Kay. Howard was the proud grandparent of eight grand children and seven great grand children. Howard is survived by two brothers: Francis and wife, Betty, Clarence and wife, Barbara, one sister, Rita and husband, Denzil Huff. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Willard and Patrick.
Howard is a member of the Camden Flats Baptist Church where a Memorial Service will be conducted by Pastor Dwight Goff at 11:00 a.m. on July 12, 2014 Friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m Saturday morning at the church. Ellyson Mortuary assisted the family with arrangement at Glenville.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held in Westminster, MD, at Maggies on 310 East Green Street, Thursday, June 26, 2014, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Howard Frymier Scholarship Fund at Westminster High School.
