Ressie Belle Wilson, 99, of Burnsville, passed away January 23, 2014 at 1:20 a.m. at Genesis Nursing Home, Glenville.
She was born at Dutch, WV, on June 19, 1914, the daughter of the late Roy David (Hub) Conley and Mary Isa Allen. She was raised in Burnsville, by the late Homer and Ollie Vankirk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry T. Wilson of Burnsville, on March 25, 1994; daughter, Dixie Lee and her husband, Dale Junior ÒPeteÓ Ratliff of Auburn; two grand-sons, Gary Lee ÒMooseÓ Ratliff of Manassas, VA; and David Alan ÒBarneyÓ Ratliff of Windham, OH; sister, Anna Lea ÒDollyÓ Hacker of Gassaway; one brother, Gail W. ÒBusterÓ Allen of Canton, MI; and son-in-law, Bennie Lee Willey of New Martinsville, WV.
She is survived by two daughters: Wanda Sue and husband, Richard Strader of Crescent, PA; and Margret Ann Willey of Burnsville; four sons: Harry Junior Wilson and wife, Peggy, Terry Tim Wilson and wife, Donna of Crescent, PA; Jerry Jim Wilson of Burnsville; and Randy Gale Wilson of Franklin.
She is survived by eight grandchildren; Susan and Brian Strader, Barbara Ratliff, Cynthia Warren, Lisa, Amanda, Logan and Zackery Wilson and seven great-grandchildren: Melissa Strader, Alyssa, Reece and Angelina Warren, Cameron, Kayleigh and Carter John Wilson, and Brittany Georgalas, three great-great-grandsons: Landon Jacob Wilson, Anthony James and Joseph Alan Georgalas. She is also survived by one half-brother and two half-sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Family received friends on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Stockert-Paletti Funeral Home, 225 Main Street, Flatwoods, WV from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Following visitation a private family closing prayer service was held, Reverend Bryan Bukovesky officated. A private Family interment was held on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Burnsville I.O.O.F Cemetery where Mrs. Wilson was reunited with her husband.
