Forrest Lynn Post, 63, of 102 West Huron Court, North East, MD formerly of Duffs Camp (Dusk Camp), passed away on December 18, 2013. He was born in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Glenn W. Post and Oleta E. (Pringle) Post. In addition to his parents, Forrest was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl E. Post, Delbert Post, and one sister, Ellen Bernice Junkins.
Forrest is survived by one son, John Forrest Post of Clarksburg; four daughters ,Barbara King-Perez of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Beverley King-Drouillard of Coral Springs, FL; Rebecca Post of Clarksburg; and Jessica Greenlief of Glenville. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, cousins, Jack Ratliff and Cherry Ramsey, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Forrest loved life and enjoyed having a good time. He loved working on computers and engine repair. Forrest also enjoyed playing pool; eight ball and nine ball were his games of choice. He played pool professionally, having competed in Las Vegas. He also loved to deer hunt and treasured the memories he and his cousin Jack had while hunting in their youth. Forrest loved to catfish in the Chesapeake Bay with his children. Forrest was also known to be an avid collector of just about anything. Forrest could fix anything from a computer, to a car, or even a boat.
Family received friends at the Stockert-Sizemore Funeral Home, 225 Main Street, Flatwoods, on Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Funeral services followed visitation at 2:00 p.m. from the Stockert-Sizemore Funeral Chapel, Reverend Eddie Wade officiated.
