FRIDAY NIGHT BINGO IN ROSEDALE
Will be enjoyed at the Rosedale Senior Citizen Center in Rosedale on the 1st and 3rd Friday nights of each month. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with games beginning at 6 p.m. Concessions will be available. A prize of money, based on the number of players, will be won for each game. There is a progressive jackpot. All proceeds from these games will go for support of the Rosedale Senior Center. Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there.
Gilmer County Public Library and Parents as Teachers (PAT) sponsors ”Kindermusik”
On Tues., Feb. 27 from 1-2 p.m. the Gilmer County Public Library will host a special event called Kindermusik. Kindermusik will mix singing, musical instruments, reading, movement, and fun all into one. Parents and kids will both enjoy this event! Adult Education can do much more than prepare you for the new High School Equivalency test. We can also help with job search, resume writing, typing, and computer literacy. In addition, English as a Second Language and Literacy classes are offered upon demand. Classes are available in both Gilmer and Calhoun Counties. Calhoun County classes will be held at the Career Center on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 to 3:30. Will be having their annual pancake breakfast on Sat., Feb. 10, from 7 a.m. to ? at the Trinity United Methodist Church. Price is by donation, proceeds will go toward their Greenbrier River Trail, 50 mile hike this Summer.

ANNUAL VALENTINE’S DAY DANCE
The Little Kanawha Trail Riders will be hosting their 10th Annual Valentine’s Day Dance February 10, 2018 from 9-1 at the 33 Country Club. We will have DJ/Karaoke provided by Ed Messenger, 50/50 raffle ticket drawing, Chinese Auction and Door Prizes through out the evening. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from 33 Club. Our admission price is only $5/person. Put on your dancing boots/shoes and make plans to come out and spend a great evening.

The Gilmer County Health Department will be holding a Food Handlers Class on Fri., Feb. 16, at 4:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Health Department.
