The Gilmer County Senior Center and I went on a mystery trip last week to Charleston. 22 of us took two vans down to Charleston to see the Capitol, the museum, and the big market. Then we came back to Flatwoods and had ice cream. It was a very nice trip.
Our sympathy goes out to the Reed family on the loss of their loved one. Nelson will be missed by his family and friends. Especially at the Gilmer County Senior Center and the Cornerstone Cafe.
Wayne and I had the pleasure of meeting the Burnsville corespondent Toni Wine. We had our picture taken together. We’ve been communicating by phone for about two years now. It was nice to finally meet in person.
