Blonda Joe Hinzman, 83, of Linn, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019 in Genesis Healthcare in Glenville, following an extended illness. He was born in Cox's Mills, on June 27, 1936, son of the late Blonda Lloyd Hinzman and Rella (Reed) Hinzman. On August 31, 1957, he married Naomi Ruth (Scott) Hinzman, who survives.
Blonda is also survived by three children, Stephanie Jan Ingram and husband, Richard, of Vero Beach, FL, Dawn Wine and husband, Jeff, of Weston, and Jock Hinzman and fiance, Tonya Peters, of Linn, five grandchildren, Jackie Maggart, Jenny Grandy, David Wine, Tara Wine Queen, and Whitney Wine Butcher, and eight great-grandchildren, Skylar, Seanna, Sophie, Emma, Phoebe, Liam, Ender, and Lainey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hinzman was an employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways in District #7 of Weston. He was a graduate of Troy High School with the class of 1954. He was a member of the Troy Baptist Church, Blonda attended Auctioneering School in Indiana and did auctioneering for farms and many other things. He also farmed at his home in Linn.
Family and friends were received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home, 730 N. Main Avenue, Weston, on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services were held on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. from Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel. Pastor Bill Hunt officiated.
