Friends and Family

Our sympathy goes out to the Conrad family on the loss of their loved one. She will be missed by her many friends and family. Also, our sympathy goes out to the Lynch family on the loss of their loved one. Fuzzy was formerly of Cedarville and will be missed by his family and fiends.

Sorry we could not make it to the Charley Jenkins birthday party, but it sounds like it was a blast. He was really dressed for the occasion! Ha ha!

We are really having plenty of winter weather. Hope it doesn't run up into spring.

Congratulations go out to David and Jessica Phares on thier new baby girl that was born last week.
Visiting Betty Riffle a few days for New Year was Rick and Shelli Smith and sons of Martinsburg. They also visited his parents, Lane and Mary Lue Smith.

Our church really appreciated the nice Christmas get together at Ruby Coberley's. Her son, Gary, had the place all decorated with snow men and beautiful decor and all the good food they prepared was all appreciated by all very much.

Leona Vanhoose had her daughter's Michelle, of Webster Co. and Melissa, of Charleson, with her for Christmas.

It was good to see Vernon and Judy Kerns out and about doing so well.

A Good Friend

To have a good friend is one of the highest delights of life; to be a good friend is one of the noblest and most difficult undertakings. Friendship depends not upon fancy, imagination or sentiment, but upon character. There is no man so poor that he is not rich if he has a friend; there is no man so rich that he is not poor without a friend. But friendship is a word made to cover many kindly, impermanent relationships. Real friendship is abiding. Like charity, it suffereth long and is kind.
